Experts are made Not Born

No One Is Born An Expert

Malcolm Gladwell says it takes 10,000 hours to become an "Expert."

I came across this video today and wanted to share it. (even though CNN is known for “Fake News” and Anderson Cooper as far as I’m concerned, is a “Dick.”)

I actually read Malcolm Gladwell’s book “Outliers” that describes his 10,000 hour theory. This was one of the hundreds of books I read during my 4 year “retirement.”

So I know this is “Real” and not just some CNN “BS.”

Gladwell describes how & why it takes top professionals 10,000 hours to achieve expert status.

How long did it take you to become an “expert” at what you do best?

What are you working on now?

Get ready to be patient.

It’s going to take you 10,000 hours to master it……there are NO shortcuts or “Magic Buttons.”

You gotta “put in the time.”

from Amazon:

In this stunning new book, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of “outliers”–the best and the brightest, the most famous and the most successful. He asks the question: what makes high-achievers different?

His answer is that we pay too much attention to what successful people are like, and too little attention to where they are from: that is, their culture, their family, their generation, and the idiosyncratic experiences of their upbringing. Along the way he explains the secrets of software billionaires, what it takes to be a great soccer player, why Asians are good at math, and what made the Beatles the greatest rock band.

Tim Ferris cays, "Not So Fast, Gladwell."

Need some help to reach that "Expert" status?
